The best librarians I know are blends of enthusiasm and flexibility. Through extensive public service I have learned skills to work positively with a diverse population of users. My experiences collecting library fines and enforcing library policies helped me develop the skills to work with demanding patrons. I communicate well in person, online and over the phone.

As an avid reader, I stay familiar with a wide variety of materials in various formats (audiobook, ebook, print, graphic novels, etc). I stay informed about new research and technologies through library conferences and publications. I constantly strive to improve existing practices and develop working solutions to procedural problems.
